About

Growing up in Walla Walla, Washington, surrounded by the Blue Mountains, textured vineyards, and golden wheat fields I always had my camera with me when I wasn’t playing sports. I was inspired to bring the outside in to display for others. Later, photojournalism jobs fed my artistic soul when I wasn’t training my search and rescue dog, coaching skiing, playing tennis, or racing sailboats. I continue to utilize light, color, and gesture to attract someone’s eye and intoxicate the viewer. Locations such as San Francisco, Maine and the Palouse spark my creativity, providing opportunities to capture the landscape, street, fashion, sport, human, and canine photography. I find that the greatest reward of photography is the opportunity to share what I see with people, in hopes they look at the world in a different way.
